My plane ticket has my first and last name. My driver's license has first, middle, last. Will this be an issue at all? Will it depend on whether I get a nice TSA agent?

I booked tickets for five people so if I had to mess up on any of them I'm glad it's mine. I'm booked on Southwest, if that matters. I was going to call them with my question, but I haven't been able to make myself want to. :)

Hoping this won't be an issue! Thanks!

I flew over labor day with no issues (First Middle Last on DL, First & Last on BP).

It shouldn't be an issue. When I fly on business, corporate travel usually puts both my first and middle name on my reservations since that's the info they have in their system, but when I print my bp for most airlines, it comes out like one, singular first name (eg should be Megan Lisa but comes out on the boarding pass as Meganlisa). That has never been a problem, and I suspect you will be just fine.

Thank you! We're flying Delta to Florida and Southwest home so at least I know I'll get there ok. They may just have to leave me there! ;)

United?

FWIW it happens even when we book it with correct names.

OP this isn't something I would worry about.

I never put middle names in unless it's someone who goes by both names.

My stepfather and a family friend both use their middle names, however on the tickets I use their First Middle and Last, as the name must match the ID.

Friends name is Ann but she goes by Marie so I put her as Ann Marie ******* on the tickets. ID says Ann but credit card says Marie so I put both.

I go by my First name. ID has complete name F/M/L. CC has my First name and middle initial. I just put my first and last on the ticket. No problem.
