Forgot to move reservation..

Last year we booked a cruise on board to get the OBB discount. I picked a Dec. 2015 cruise date because they did not have the placeholder option at the time. The reservation was under my husband's name and is linked to an email address he no longer uses. We placed a 10% deposit. I went online today to see if I can move it, and I noticed it was no longer on his upcoming cruises. What typically happens to the deposit? Is there any way it can be refunded or moved to another cruise?

If you don't pay in full by the pay in full date, you forfeit the deposit. What date was the cruise for?

You can try calling DCL and see if they can find the original reservation. Maybe, they will allow you to move it. But I wouldn't count on it.

I thought they were moving all OBBs to placeholder cruises, and you had to contact them to keep the date if you actually wanted it. I would call them in case they have actually converted it to a placeholder.

Michellekcm is correct. They converted a bunch of them months ago. I'd call and check!
