Forgot to give tip envelopes...help!

We just arrived home from the 5/23/04 Wonder cruise. (It was awesome, by the way!) Anyway, my parents travelled with us. My mom went to guest services and charged the tips to her KTTW card and in turn received the little ticket stubs you put in the envelopes. Well, in our haste and hurry she forgot to take them to Parrot Cay to give to our servers. She did charge them to the room but now she doesn't know if they will get the tips without the actual ticket stubs. Help! Does anyone know how she can take care of this or will they automatically know to give the tips to the servers even though they never got their stubs?

I think they need the stubs to cash in for the money.

I was under the impression that if you charged the tip, then it is automatically put into the persons pay check. The stubb just allows them to see what was given.

If you think about it, it is a very good system. You don't have to deal with cash and the CMs get their tips in on lump sum.

When I charged tips to our account @ Guest Services, the CM told me it was not "required" for us to give the receipts to the CMs we were tipping ... it's just that most people do ... they still get the money regardless of whether or not they got an envelope from you.

Good Question it would seem to me that some how Disney would know ?? if u think about the accounting ... More money credited to servers account than claimed , so I would say that the paper tickets are not required for the severs to claim the money..



But Im Not 100% positive and would call Dcl. To make sure ...

And then they will tell u how to make this right..

You don't need to give them the stubs.
If you read them it has the servers full name and it is given to them via the computer. It is nice to be able to let them know face to face but they will get the tip your parents gave.
This is one of the advantages over giving cash imho.

Thanks to you all! I guess the general opinion is that they will indeed get their tips and that is what we were worried about. Thank you all once again for your help! I posted a trip report and just wanted to thank you all for always being so helpful with all of my tedious questions!
