We had SW credits. I booked a departing flight for me 2 months ago when I saw a good fare. I was supposed to fly last Saturday. Right after I booked, we decided to change the dates of our trip. I planned on changing the date of my flight. I FORGOT! I can't believe I forgot. I didn't change the date or cancel.

It was $104... not a huge amount, but I am so annoyed with myself!!!

I assume that money is just gone now, right?

I believe your money flew away with the plane!:lmao::flower3:
At least it wasn't a larger amount, but I'd be kickin' myself too if I ever did that. Just put that on your mental list of "things NOT to EVER do again":thumbsup2

Yeah, at least it wasn't a larger amount and, even better, my husband doesn't know about it! :)

No, it shouldn't be gone. I read somewhere that even if you no show for a flight, you'll still have those funds stored under that conf #. Not so with other airlines.

Try it and see.

If you'd rather not enter your info into a link, just go to SWA home page and look under Travel Tools under the Customer Service tab in the bottom center of the page. From there click on View Travel Funds.

Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

WOW! You're right! It's still there. I have travel funds! I just love Southwest.

Thanks!!

Glad someone else told you to check. :)

My SIL travels for business and once was called by her secretary while she was in line for boarding, to be told that the deposition had been canceled. She got out of line and simply left, and by the time she got home her trip had been refunded (she gets the refundable tickets). SW is good about that.

I'm glad your funds were still there. Just a reminder, you need to use them within a year of the original purchase date.
