but I keep reading about pin codes and am very curious as to how you go about getting them from disney. Do I have to be a member of something? TIA.

not sure but I think you are right, that you must be some kind of member

Getting pin codes is a random thing as there is no rhyme or reason to it. All you can really do it make sure Disney has an up-to-date email address and mailing address.......and even then there is no guarantee. Good luck .
