There's someone on the rent/trade board asking for $9 a point with a home resort of SSR. He isn't having a fire sale since he says they are good until November. Why would he give away these points that cost so much instead of banking or selling them at a fair price. He had to have paid at least $85 for the points and with his maintenance, I'm not sure if he knows what he's doing. When I see these kind of things I usually send the guy a PM telling him what's up but now I am at a loss--He has a November use year!

He's only paying $3.83 per point in maintenance fees on those points, so I don't understand the issue. If he's happy renting those points at $9 a point, more power to him. Why would we want to question that?

I am not saying anything against him. I just couldn't justify all that outlay of money to rent the points for $9. Maybe it's my issue with the disboards and what people will rent their points for. Never mind anyway, it was a stupid topic and I got my answer!
