While vacationing in Baltimore we went to eat at Dick's Last Resort. I had heard they have service with attitude and with young teen's along we thought it perfect to get back what they dish out. It was empty, but service was still slow. 2 of us ordered the bucket o'shrimp with cheese fries. What a rip off it was 9.99 plus 1.50 for the cheese on the fries the meal was presented with the fries in a basket with melted cheese and sliced green onions (what! never did it say there were onions if you got cheese) then they set a metal bucket in front of you with paper wrapped on top holding 5 shrimp. I ate the 5 shrimp and took the paper off looking for the rest nothing it was empty. So I figured this was part of the theme so asked for the rest of the shrimp and was told that was it. When I said it was a rip off the waiter said welcome to Baltimore! We travel frequently heck we come to Disney every year and I have never ordered a shrimp basket and only got 5 shrimp. I now understand how they got their name. Just wondered if this is just at Baltimore or it's the same at all the different locations. I did write to them and 2wks ago they were mailing me a t-shirt:sad2: still haven't gotten it.

I was once slapped by an employee there. As I told the manager, attitude is one thing, hitting is another. The only reason I did not call the police and file charges is that I was there with the client who had wanted to take me out and he was already hysterical over what had just happened

Manager agreed employee crossed the line. Waiter who slapped disappeared and food was free, but......

Never again

I've been to the one in Boston and thought it was hilliarous! Although I didn't know what to expect and when I walked in an saw everyone wearing white paper "hats" I thought I had stumbled into a "private meeting" of the KKK:lmao:

The San Antonio location has always been packed or at least it was the last time we were there. Five shrimp is pretty sad.

OMG! That's crazy and way out of line! We go to the one in Chicago, the BF likes the bigger bottles of beers (40oz. maybe) and chicken wings and fried pickles. They also have outdoor seating by the river.

I was at the one in Chicago once and wasn't impressed. I don't remember an issue with the food, but since I don't remember the food it must have been only so-so. The "wait staff with attitidue" wasn't all that much fun, I got the feeling they were phoning it in. I've eaten at Ed Debevic's a couple of times and the attitudes were a lot more enjoyable! If I'm going to go to a theme restaurant, I'd rather eat at Hard Rock.

Oooooooh!! So THAT'S where those white paper cone hats came from!! I was in Boston recently and was stumped at the # of people walking around wearing them, lol.

Will have to look up the restaurant next time. Never knew it existed.

We have a Dick's Last Resort in Vegas and I refuse to eat there.

When it first opened a friend of mine had a birthday party there and video recorded the event. Never in a million years would I pay for that rude service; in fact, I don't even see the attraction in it.

In the video, we saw a horrified middle aged couple the next table over. The wife ended up yelling at the waitress and walked out on their meal because the waitress thought it would be cool to just give her husband an impromptu lap dance at the dinner table.

i always see alot of tourists at this place on the riverwalk with thier condom hats that look like the KKK, never eaten there though

That's the one! We had a bit of a hard time finding it. I don't exactly remember the food, think I had a steak, but the drinks were...well....strong:rotfl2: Actually I think it wasn't as expensive as I was expecting it to be either

A stones throw from some of the best crab houses in the country, and that's where people chose to go when visiting Baltimore? For shame.
