Forecast for Rain on Fri and Sat - Crowds??

Can anyone fill me in on how crowds will be this Friday and Saturday with the rain that DL is expecting? We aren't going to let it ruin our trip but we secretly hope it will keep others away and in dry quarters. What should I expect, typically and normal crowds or lower than normal?

Hi Tracer!

Usually, I have found that if there is inclement weather, locals don't go to DL; and guests to the area usually stay in their hotel rooms. So, I would think that as long as you dress for the rain- you should reap the benefits of a little bit of wet weather!

Also- if it's raining on and off, then that's how the crowds usually are, too. [When it's raining, the park will empty out- and as soon as it quits, people flood back in.]

I have had some greats day during the rain. I bring an umbrella and ponchos. Really there is a fair amount you can do indoors too. Innoventions, The Aladdin show at DCA and so on.

I have an AP so maybe for me it isn't so bad, because I know I will be back soon in case I miss something. The above poster was right though, the crowds will come and go with the rain. I am going this Sunday.
