Forbidden Journey and Hulk with a broken arm...

We're doing a day at Universal in about 3 weeks, and klutzy me fell and fractured my elbow last friday. I know the restraints on the Hulk and Forbidden Journey (my 2 favorite rides) hold you securely and you shouldn't have to hold on too tightly, but I've also discovered - now that I can't do much with that arm - that I rely that arm way more than I realized, and I'm sure that I've always held on pretty tightly with both hands on those rides before. Has anyone ridden them with their arm in a cast/limited use of an arm? Did the ride feel more out of control or unpleasant because of it? I'm probably going to chance it, but I'd sure like to hear other people's experiences if anyone has them to share.

Are you in a cast? If so: “Guests with arm or leg casts or walking boots will be restricted from riding The Incredible Hulk Coaster®.
Casts must fit comfortably in the ride vehicle and not interfere with proper functioning of the ride restraint. Please see an Attractions Attendant for assistance.”

My son did FJ in a 90 degree cast from wrist to shoulder and it was fine, but he was 11 and skinny. So he fit inside the confines of the restraints. Would be different with a bulkier person.

All sorts of info here: https://www.universalorlando.com/webdata/k2/en/us/files/Documents/universal-orlando-riders-guide.pdf

Thanks, I hadn't seen that. Guess I'll cross Hulk off the list this trip. :guilty:
Hopefully I'll be able to manage FJ. It's been a long time since I was 11, and I've never been skinny...

From the experience of a couple friends, elbow breaks aren’t as hard to deal with as in the middle of the humerus or in the lower arm bones. Elbow seems to be more straight forward. So you might have an easier time of it on FJ.
