When you walk, do you carry a CD player for your music, a cassette player, MP3 player?

I love walking and love listening to music while I walk. However, my CD player does some "skipping" and it's so annoying. I've thought about taping off some of my CD's and carrying a walkman instead, but my DH suggested an MP3 player....but I know nothing about them. How do they work? How do you get the music?

I saw a guy jogging recently and it looked like he had some kind of music device on his arm, held in place by an armband or something.... does anyone know what it might have been?

MP3 players can be tiny. I just got an ipod to run with. Got a clip so I just clip it on and go...I was told that mine can hold something like 20,000 songs.

I have used my CDs to load whole albums on it and I have also bought music downloads for 99cents each or $9.99 an album at itunes.com.

Mine was very easy to learn to use.

I like to listen to audio books while I walk. Sometimes on solo trips to WDW I will listen while waiting in lines.

I buy from Audible.com and my player is smaller than an Ipod.

Most likely an Mp3 Player, they come in all different sizes (but normally very small) and many come with arm bands!

I have a Sony Sports walkman. It has a strap on the back that wraps around my hand....I just slide my hand into it.....so I cannot drop it but yet its convenient for me if I want to skip a song or replay a song or whatever. It also has a hold button....that keeps the CD from skipping. I love mine.

I run and walk and use my MP3 player. It's easier to use and holds alot of songs.
