For Virginia DISers about Ashland

My DH just told me we had stayed at a hotel across from that Ponderosa. Is Ashland the same town that has the train tracks that go right thru the town?

Actually, King's Dominion is a little further North than Ashland, in Doswell.

I've been there many times also Krisu since we have relatives about 2 hours south of there. It's the route we take to get there. In fact my dad drove by there 2 weeks ago and a year around this time, he ate at that very Ponderosa when he and my aunt and uncle were coming home from some gambling time in Huntington. This is getting WAY too close for comfort for me now. I had to call my dad this morning to find out if my aunt and uncle were home - their original plans would have put them through there last night but fortunately they came home earlier this week than they thought they were going to. THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
