Every once in awhile I see someone ask advice for a resort with very young children. Now please understand this is not a slam against you! I love the fact that you are such a great parent that you're not only taking your child or children to WDW but that you're very concerned about the perfect resort for them...I commend you!
I was thinking about the question and I remembered my son's first Christmas. It HAD to be perfect! We had to get the perfect gifts, the ones that teach and are safe and are fun and the right color and the right size. We kept within our budget (roughly the same sum as the national debt). There were boxes and boxes of every color and shape. It must have taken us 3 months to wrap it all. Took almost that long for our 9 month old to unwrap it all. After the carnage we found that his favorite toy was the blue plastic spoon he got in some sort of fisher price toy.
...a 3 cent plastic spoon
When he was 1 and 2 he loved the boxes things came in.
Seems no matter what plans you make the kids are going enjoy themselves.
