Well, that happens.
Just quietly clean it up and move on. Unlike what they say in alot of these dog books I've seen, it is NOT the end of the world if your dog has an accident.
My sister was very concerned that if her new bichon puppy had one accident, they were going to have to start all over. It was incredibly stressful for her and not very much fun. It was also absolutely untrue. Her dog had a few accidents, but is now really getting the hang on where's she's supposed to be going. My sister has wisely put away the how-to books.
