For those with DD age 8...

could you please tell me what size shoes they wear?

Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question, but I saw the cutest sandals on sale to match my DD mickey tropical dress. I would like to get the shoes now but didn't know what size she might be in till then...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

my dd is nine years old and wearing a size 8 shoe (womens) but she is bigger than the norm...

i would say the average 8yo wears maybe a size 3? go a size up or down depending on the child (big or small for age)...

Both my DDs are 8 and one wears a 13 1/2 and the other wears a 1 1/2.

I have a DD ( just turned 9- average size height & weight) that wears a woman size 6!
And a DD (age 7 next month who is very petite) who only wears a little kids size 12!

Perhaps you could help out all of us moms trying to help you by telling us:
your daughter's age
Build type
Size now wearing (clothing)
current shoe size

How far out are you trying to buy these for, sometime this year or 7 years from now!?! LOL

My daughter is age 4 1/2, skinny, and wears a childs 9 1/2 shoe as of now.

I didn't know what the normal growth per year was.

If closer to 7, I'd go with 2. If closer to 9, then 3.

I understand that you want to get the shoe now because you saw them now but there is really no way to know what size shoe your DD will wear in 3 1/2 years.

Point in case. My younger DD was always "bigger then average" when she was younger. But now at 11 she is on the small side of average.

Don't waste your money on shoes now. Just wait until you need them.

Whichever size I decide, she'll at least be able to wear sometime... I just really loved them.
