For those with attached garages-Do you leave your garage door open?

No. I f I am out working in the yard and need to keep going in and out of the garage and basement I will leave it open, but if I am in the house, the door is closed.

If someone drops by and wants to get into my house, they can ring the front doorbell.

I keep our garage doors closed whenever I'm home. At night the door into the house is deadbolted as well. When we're home on weekends, DH drives me nuts leaving the door on his side open with his car out. ARGGGGH!!

Our neighbors, on the other hand, leave their doors wide open all the time... unless they're away... even during the night.
