For those with AP's-

About 6 hours from Disneyland, upgraded to APs in June, and are definitely planning to go again in December. I would very much like to go in October but I don't know if it's possible, either fiscally or getting the time off work. I definitely want to go see World of Color before it expires too. But even if we just use the AP twice (June's admission and then December), we'll have saved money on our admission media, versus buying separate hoppers for each trip.

Live 6 hours away and have visited six times since January. Each trip has been for 2-3 days each. We don't do that every year.

DH, DS, and I live on the Kansas-Oklahoma border and have had deluxe APs for the last two years. We usually manage to get in at least two week long trips each year. I make the AP last for three trips by doing the third trip the week before our APs expire. We love our California-Disneyland vacations! :thumbsup2

We live in Utah and it is a 10 hour drive for us, or we fly if we can get good airfare on JetBlue. We usually end up alternating flying and driving. We drove in Dec., flew in May, flew in July (just DH and I) and are driving in Nov. - unless I can figure out a way to come up with the extra $1200 I need to fly and rent a car. :confused3

We got our Deluxe AP's in Feb. but didn't activate them until May. We will probably use them 4 times before they expire.

We live in Alberta, Canada and we usually drive down..it takes 2 days but we stop for the night. It is about a 24 hour drive. We will be there at least 3 time this year (possibly 4) for a total of 16 days. If we end up gping in March as well it will be 21 days!

Oh we have the Delux AP! My DH says I'm Disney crazy...but so is he! :goodvibes

We live in the UK, have annual passes and go once a year. We find that if you have a 5 day pass for example you feel you have to be at the park from opening time till closing to avoid feeling that you have wasted one of your 5 days.

An AP only costs a fraction more and this way you can go for shorter periods if you want, maybe on the way home from doing something else, sometimes we've dropped in just to see the fireworks.

Drive from Visalia (central CA): 210 miles= just under 3 hrs if traffic behaves and the kids only have to *go* once :)
Last year w/So Cal APs we went 6x.
This year w/Deluxe APs we have more days available and I hope to go at least 1x per month. Probably 5 2-3 day trips w/DH plus lots of one day trips with just me & the kids.

We live in Beverly Hills and have been 10 times this year since I got my AP. DDs turned 3 in April so they didn't need a pass before then. I've got another 10 trips penciled in on the calendar for 2009 for us and then we'll go a couple times with my sister and her kids and my aunt. We also have friends who just got APs so we'll plan a trip with them and then we have a belated birthday party for the girls in October with two friends that I need to coordinate.

My AP (premium) expires in January and dds' and dh's APs (deluxes) expire in May.

I just bought the Costco Deluxe APs and they will be activated for a 3 day trip in Oct. Then I have a trip planned in Dec for our anniversary, just me and DH. And since the girls will be begging there's a tentative trip planned in Feb. I just got a PIN for the month of September and would LOVE to use them, but DH isn't letting that one fly. I figure we'll go at least 4 or 5 times...I'm so excited. :cool1: We live in Sacramento, about 6 - 7 hours by car with 2 DDs.

We have Deluxe passes and usually got twice a year for 3 - 4 days each time. We live in Central California about 2 hours 45 minutes away.

This year so far we did a one day turn around trip! My husband hated it, he said never again. It is too tiring!

I bought my Deluxe AP last October and we leave next week for our third time in less than a year, we are from WA. :goodvibes

Hi from Blaine, WA!

I got my first AP this year when I was there in March for the ladies trip (5 days). I am going again in september fro 5-6 days and again in February for 5 days so I will be using my pass for 15-16 days!

we got ours in April and have been 14 days so far :) we are going again in august for 5 days and have an October trip planned for 4 days :) we drive 8 hours to get there. :(
But I think we have got our $ worth already :)

I have to laugh at this, we are 6 hours away and we drove down on Saturday at about 6 pm, we got to the hotel and went to sleep, got up the next morning and hit DL for about 8 hours and drove back home. LOL It was tiring but honestly, it's one of the trips we remember most and still talk about it. :)

We used to do this when we lived in Antioch about 8-9 years ago LOL
We laugh about running around on a Friday after school everyone pack as quick as you can LOL getting to DL way too late and crashing at the hotel. Get up the next day stay till 6 and drive home. The kids still talk about those trips and laugh that none of their friends ever believed what they did over the weekend! I am too old and pooped to do that now I have to stay atleast 2 nights LOL but enjoy those trips while you've still got the energy to do them :thumbsup2

we , DGF, live about 15mins away and typically go twice a week. Normally Friday night after work and late Saturday afternoon. sometimes we may go on a Sunday as well. just for the month of July alone, we've gone 6 times. and will probably go tomorrow and Saturday as well :)

oh n we have Premium Passes, love not having blackout dates.

I live in LA and have a PAP. It usually takes one hour from the time I leave my house to the time I get to the gate; I usually go 1-2x a week, mainly Thursday and Sunday evenings.

We are moving down to ca in 3 weeks but we are in Portland Oregon now. We got our AP's back in november and just go back from our 5th trip. If were weren't moving down we'd have gone in oct as well. But now we'll be an hour away so we can go more often :)

We are upgrading to DAP while on our 6 day trip in September. I already have a Halloween trip planned and booked! :woohoo: We love Xmas, but will skip the holidays this year since my SIL is getting married Thanksgiving weekend, and my youngest will be one the week before Xmas....besides the regular holiday craziness. I want to do GCH for our anniversary at the end of January, a Spring break trip, and a big trip in the summer with DHs entire family (10 adults and 10 kids!). We definitely want to take the kids to DLH for one of the trips.

We live near Modesto, CA (about 5-6 hours away).

I have a Premium Annual Pass and go around 6 times a year usually for multiple days. I live around 3 hours away without traffic in Central California.
