I'm still thinking if i should upgrade to park hopper tickets, what do you guys think?

We are thinking of adding hoppers also. But the past few years have not used them so we haven't purchased them. But I would like to see fantasmic and maybe spend more time at epcot in the evenings. I think the upgrade in tickets for our 10 base ticket is 100.00. We have tons of wp tickets to use from our 10 day non-expire tickets we bought so we are using a couple of those also .

this is our exact same senario. same dates. our price is 1331. is yours for 2 adults? also we upgraded from quick service to ddp, did you? is just a small price difference but wonder why? weird.
and off to the magic after so i'm sooooo pleased  have fun, see you there.....:rotfl:

just edidted...i just noticed you have park hoppers. i declined that as one park a day is more than enough for us. skipped waterparks to because of the time restrains, if we do get time its cheaper to purchase one than pay the extra. also, because we fly in later on sunday and are leaving to get on the ship early saturday, i only took 5 day passes.....
so i guess its NOT the exact same senario...sorry!

I'm happy to join in too. This could come out looking a bit odd by comparison, but I am in the UK and booked with Disney UK. I have converted to US$ so it is easier to see in perspective. Here goes:

1 Adult (me)
1 Child (DD 8 years old)

October 2nd - 16th, POFQ Standard Room
Free Dining Plan (Quick Service - UK only gets QS with mods for FD)

Room, Park Tickets & QSDP(Free): $2700
Flights from Glasgow to MCO: $1600
MYW package price: $4300

Of course that does not take into account things like the airport hotel, Travel Insurance, Photopass CD, 6 OOP TS meals, Resort Photo session ....... :rolleyes1

After a million changes....here is the final result!

We are going mainly for Food and Wine. So the hoppers allow us to spent the morning in another park and then later go to Epcot.

The Quick Service Plan will give each of us 2 snack credits which can be used at Food and Wine so it seems like a good deal.

Great thread!!!

My details are as follows:

Family- Me, DS [14], DW
Date- 8/2 - 8/11 - 2010 [next week!!!!!!!]:cool1:
Resort- Caribbean Beach [standard room]
Tickets- MYW w/park hopper and water park option
Code- Free Counter Service Dining
Total for DW package - $3019.03
Airfare- 696.00 out of NYC
Grand Total - $3715.03

I also have a Disney visa rewards card for $350.00. This will basically take care of our Ohana dinner and some t-shirts, etc.

I usually book through AAA but they were more expensive this year. It was nice because we had choices; free dining, the gift card option [I think it was $500.00 for moderates], free quick service, or the 40% off option. After reviewing all of those options, we chose the free quick service option.
