just booked with Starwood (Starwood Preferred Guest which works at the Swan and Dolphin) their Nights + Flights 2. For 70,000 points I got 5 nights at the Dolphin in October with my wife for our 20th Anniversary plus they transferred 50,000 miles to American Airlines. I got two free flights from Colorado Springs and 5 nights at the Dolphin! I think it's the best deal out there.

I rented points from a DVC owner so that on each side of the Dolphin I would stay at the Boardwalk Villas (so I could get Magical Express) and that cost $360 total. So, with tickets from Undercover Tourest, a full 7 days, air, tickets and hotel are under $1000. !

So in the ongoing format:

I think I got a good deal through AAA, maybe someone can let me know?? This was way too complicated. This was booked Dec 2010, with air booked Feb 2011 (I think).

Also, we booked standard for AK, hoping that we get upgraded to a view (it will be my 35th birthday 8/21, and spouse and child's birthdays are in Sept), it's our first vacation away. It's my understanding that there aren't many standard rooms available compared to rooms with a view, so hopefully we get upgraded?

My hubbys 1st ever trip was with Me and his own children! He now says its the best place on earth for a Holiday(thankgod it would be the divorce otherwise .......

Actually your most recent adults only trip doesn't sound like a bad deal, 2 weeks, waterparks and more w/parkhopper and airfare from UK...I'd take that deal! We are going for a week with 2 adults 1 child and with airfare and no water parks and no DP we will pay about $3k USD and we're flying from OHIO, not across the pond!
