For those who've stayed at AKL Concierge Level

I'd like to surprise my son with a 2 night AKL Concierge Level stay at the end of our 2 weeks in the World. My question is about the Sunrise Safari. My son would absolutely LOVE this excursion, but it's only available on Sunday's and Thursdays. We'll be checking out of POFQ early on Sunday. Does anyone know if it would be possible to be on the Sunday Sunrise Safari if we don't technically check in until 3 or 4 pm? I can't swing the days to work any other way. Any ideas? I don't know the answer to your questions, but I have gone on the Sunrise Safari and it is WONDERFUL. I am hoping to get an Annual Passholder Rate for AKL concierge in December so I can go again.

I think you could do it but I would call and ask. If you are checking in that day technically you will be a guest on that day.

You would have to be at AKL Club level at 7am if not before if this helps out. Unless you check out very early at POFQ & check in at AKL before 6AM or a little after you might be able to make it. But call & ask

We booked 3 nights arriving on a Sunday...the conceirge desk said I had to be in a room Saturday night in order to do the sunrise safari....so I added another night!

You can do the Sunrise Safari on Check-Out day. (never tried for check-in day, but I can understand them saying "no" to that.)

You can do the safari on Sunday morning if you are staying at AKL concierge either the saturday night before or the sunday night of the safari (same goes for thursday's safari...wednesday night before thursday of). We just did this in October... couldn't get a Concierge room until Sunday night so we called and asked. We checked in at the front desk in the lobby at 6am and we escorted upstairs to the concierge lounge to be checked in again later, We had no problems whatsoever!! You'd just have to leave Port orleans nice and early on sunday morning!!!
