For those who put DVC on Credit Card:

If you purchased DVC direct from Disney and put it on a Credit Card, can you tell me what "Organization"/Name shows up on the credit card statement with the charge?

Is it maybe the "Disney Vacation Club", which would be counted as "travel"?

I'm wondering, because we might put some of the balance on an AX CC that gives a rebate for "travel" purchases.

Does anyone know if this constitutes as "travel"?

Any insight will be appreciated. Thank you!

I charged mine to a Disney Visa. It came through as "Disney Vacation Development (Lodging)".

mine came through Amex as:

Disney Vacation Dev Inc

Not sure what category it was stored under - the merchant type was: Timeshare.

We did an add on this year and charged it to our MC. It listed the merchant as Disney Vacation Development. It did not earn the bonus miles that "travel" earns.
