Do they still open the gates and let you in Soarin' a little before posted opening time?

We did get in early through the Grand Californian entrance. I notice that you are staying at the DLH, so that should be an option for you. I don't know if park opening time matters, they opened at 10 when we were there and we went in at 9:30. Good luck!

We stayed at DLH and entered through the normal park entrance (not GC) between 9:30 and 9:45 and walked directly to Soarin' and yes, it was open. Fast passes were going like hot cakes!!
