Hey gang!

We're just about done packing and almost ready to head to WDW. Can those of you who have tried the EHM in the evenings explain the specifics of getting the wrist bands.....When and where do you get them? Can you get them at a park other than the one open late and hop to it afterwards? anything else?

When I've experienced e-night, I went to City Hall for my wrist band. I don't know what it's like now, though, so I'll just bump this back to page one for you so that some of our experts can give you correct information.

I can tell you since I'm here right now. We went to Magic Kingdom on Wed night for EMH (evening). You could pick up your wrist bands at several locations -- front of park, in Frontierland, in Fantasy Land and several others (can't remember all of them).

You can't get them at another park other than the one that is open late. But you can enter after it has officially begun. They will just check your resort ID before they let you in.

As a side note -- I thought MK was a ZOO that night. Some of the lines were longer than they were during the day!!! Just a side note.

I was at MK Wed night too. I came in just as the fireworks were ending. The CMs were distributing the wrist bands at the turnstiles. They're like the wristbands you get at the YC/BC pool.

I thought it was crowded - more crowded than Enights - but manageable. Everyone seemed to have a wristband.

There was no line at all at Splash. Thunder Mountain had a 10-minute line. Toward midnight, Space Mountain had no line. No line for Buzz toward the end of the night.

After midnight, there were characters signing autographs at the Castle.

I didn't hang around to see the Kiss Goodnight. Does anyone know if it was done Wed night?

Basically, the Kiss Goodnight is a light-effect on the castle. By using different spotlights, the castle appears to change colors. It is really quite pretty to watch it slowly cycle through the colors.

That's right. Three years ago, my son and I stayed later after e-night and Micky and Minnie came out from the castle and threw a kiss - I thought that was the Kiss Goodnight.

But a year or so later, I stayed late with my daughter and two women also staying late said the Kiss Goodnight was the changing colors on the castle - and the light effects that suggested Tinkerbelle.

Oh, that's the good night kiss? Then I saw it too one trip... guess I didn't know it. The effect was kind of ruined by the street sweepers coming out!

How early in the day can you get your EMH wristband? After 4:00 like for E-Night, or earlier?

TIA!

I just got back from WDW. I did 2 evening EMH's. The first was MGM/DS, I went from EPCOT after Illuminations. The late EMH started when Illuminations did. I had to go to a ticket window in front of MGM/DS and show my resort ID to get the wrist band. The second one was at MK, I was already in the park and they had CM's in several locations. You showed them your resort ID and you got your wrist band.

I talked to a CM when at EPCOT asking about getting into a park late for evening EMH and he said he had folks get in as late as 45 min left in the EMH.

We did EMH on Wed. at MK and LOVED it!!! Yes, there were alot of people but it was great. We watched "Wishes" at 9pm and then this is what we rode in the remaining 2 1/2 hours....Big Thunder x2, Splash MOuntain x2, Space Mtn. x3, and Buzz x1. Oh, and the 2 DS's rode Astro Orbiter too! Because they let you use fastpass, you could really do alot!

When we did AK, we got the entire park done between 5-8pm. We even left for the bus before they closed.

:D We are also "just back" and wishing we were "still there!" We tried evening EMH Wed. at MK. You can pick up wristbands for EMH at entrance to MK or at several other places around park (I know they were distributing next to Magic Carpet ride in Adventureland).

Wristband distribution begins 2 hours prior to park closing (beginning of EMH) and you can pick up wristbands anytime during EMH. We knew that we weren't going to arrive in MK until after 9:30 since we were doing dinner and Illuminations at Epcot so we confirmed this with Poly concierge and MK guest relations.

We arrived at MK at 10:00 p.m. We have 2 dds (2 and 4) who we let take very late and long naps (until about 6:00 p.m.) I've read some negative reviews on EMH but we thought it was GREAT! In 2 hours we (or some combination of "us") rode (please remember ages of our children if you question some selections:p )

Magic Carpets - twice (no wait)
Jungle Cruise - once (10 min. wait)
Splash Mountain -twice (no wait - there were empty logs going down)
Big Thunder MRR - once (10 min. wait)
Mickey's Philharmagic - walked right in

While dgm (darling grandma) was doing Philharmagic, the girls and I rode:

Carousel - 4 times (no wait)
Dumbo - 2 times (no wait)
Peter Pan - 2 times (stayed on ride twice)

dgma also rode Snow White with no wait.

At midnight, as we were leaving, characters (Mickey, Minnie, Captain Hook, Lilo, Stich and others) came out for autographs and pictures in front of castle. Yes, they did do Kiss Goodnight (I did not know that was what they called it either but it was beautiful!)

We arrived back at Poly at 1:00 a.m. and slept in the next day but LOVED EMH and would DEFINITELY do it again. For us "night owls" it is wonderful and we hit more rides in 2 hours than we could have covered in a day! We are SO ready to go back - time to begin planning again...
