Did you find that on the longer (7 or 10 day) cruises there were more or less kids than there usually are on a three or four? We are on the repo, and I have wondered whether it is going to be crazy with kids, or more filled with older couples. It seems to me that the cost would keep out more younger families with small kids, but the dates would keep out more families with older kids. I know its just a guess until we get on board, but what has the past experience been?

We have done all the itineraries and I have not seen a difference at all in the amount of kids....I saw more of a difference in time of year. I was also wondering what the child situation would be on the repo (we are Eastbound).

Well nothing is stopping us!! :cool1:
DH and me and 4 little ones: ages 11 down to 3. :goodvibes

Just hang out at the Adult pool. :) Its virtually kid free and a lovely relaxing spot too.

I've done a 7-day and a 4-day and it does not appear to be much difference in the number of kids. Both of my sailings were in January so most of the kids seemed younger.
The biggest difference is the length of the lines to see characters shortens as the cruise progresses and it is even more noticable on the 7-day.

Of our 6 cruises (3-day, two 4-days, two 7-days, and one 10 day) I can say that the one with the fewest kids was one of our 4 days and the one with the most was our 10 day.

The 4 day was the first DVC Member Cruise where many adults (at least most of the ones we met) used it as an adult only escape.

The 10 day was Dec. 18-28 when many schools were out so we had a great number of children on that cruise.

We don't have children and love Disney because they have such great areas for kids you don't see them in the adult areas.
