? for those who have done Dining Plan

I know I know......not another dining plan question! Sorry. I was just wondering if after meals, etc. you get a receipt that has the remaining number of credits you have left to use? I'm trying to figure out how to keep track of our credits. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

If you loose track of what you have/have not used you can go to the front desk of your resort and ask them for a print out of your plan. You can do this daily if needed! They keep track of it for you!

Ok...so to bump in here, but do you have to make reservations with the meal plan or can you just hop in when your feeling hungry?

For your TS you really need to make AR's. And yes per many post you are given a receipt which shows how many credits for counter snacks and TS you have.

After they take your card, they print a receipt with all of the prices showing. You sign this one and give it back. Then, they hand you a receipt with the items you purchased showing but no prices, just 0.00. This receipt says the number of credits left at the bottom. In addition, the CMs at the snack carts and many of the CS's would say, "You have blah blah snack credits left" when they handed me the receipt.

If you are going to keep track of how much each meal actually costs, don't be a fool like me and memorize the receipt to write it down after you get to the table! Not only will you be fumbling for your pen while everyone starts eating, but your husband will laugh at you and call you obsessed! That's what happened to me anyway!

In your express checkout envelope, they give you a list of where you ate and the exact receipt totals.

If the place has room you can hop in. It is very probable that most POPULAR joints will be FULL.


But that is regardless of the dining plan, even if you are paying cash reservations are STRONGLY reccomended or you risk eating only counter service(not putting that down) or Sit Downs that are not in very high demand(maybe for a reason).
