How was the swimming? Is SAB heated enough to be able to swim? (I'm from Ohio, so my standards are going to be much lower than someone from the south!)

Thanks!

We've only been once in Dec '03 during an unusual cold spell - 40's so swimming was not an option for us. Did not see much pool use. The pools are heated to 80 degrees. I think the getting out would be the tough part :flower:

We're from New England and were at the YC early in December. The weather was actually fairly warm during the day, I'd say 60's, so my kids definitely did some swimming. As much fun as the slide was though, my DS only went down it once and my DD did it a few times. They both said it was cold being out of the water and having to walk over and up the stairs. We didn't do the tubes at all either, because again, they were warmer when they were submerged in the water. If you picked the YC/BC strictly based on the pool, you probably won't get to enjoy it as much as others do in the warmer weather.

We're from New England and have been in December a couple of times - we swam both during the day and at night. While it was cool we didn't think it was cold enough to keep us out of the pool. Last time we were there my kids were 9, 3 1/2 and 2 1/2 they all went in and enjoyed being able to swim and play in the water.
