Okay, so I've got my confirmation. Next Thursday I will be having lunch at Club 33!! :woohoo:

I have a few questions for those lucky few who have been able to do this. My husband was able to get us in through a associate at work who knows a member. His associate said the meal when he went was completely free. Which I know isn't usually the case. I wonder if sometimes a member can pay ahead of time for their guests in certain cases? I'm not expecting it free, I'll be planning to pay. For those who did lunch, including tip how much did it run you?

Also for lunch what is the dress code? I plan to pack a nice dress suit, but didn't know if lunch was more relaxed on that.

AND if you did eat lunch, what did you have? What items would you recommend?

I'm so excited and just feel so lucky to be able to do this. I may spend all my souvineer money in there. LOL

Thanks for the info and link, it was very helpful!

I'll certainly plan for at least $63 per person. It's pricey, but worth every penny I'm sure!

We've had our meal there comp-ed before, so it's certainly possible, and very generous if it happens. ;)

As for dress... the last time we were there we saw one fairly large group all in what I would consider dressy cocktail attire (I'm guessing that's definitely the exception rather than the rule though, especially for lunch) The family at the next table over were in typical park clothes ie: shorts and t-shirts. It was quite the contrast.

We went somewhere in the middle and we felt appropriately dressed. I told my kids to think cruise casual. No shorts, no jeans, and DS had wear the dreaded collar shirt.

Congrats on getting the invite and enjoy!

We will be going in November with our DD (8) and DS (2). I recently found out that I can get reservations thru my work. Woo Hoo! We got early lunch reservations so that everyone should be in a good mood and it seems more casual.

Here is what my reservation confirmation says about the dress code...

Lunch- No beach attire, sandals or tank tops. Walking length shorts and jeans are acceptable provided they are not extremely faded or torn.

Dinner - Men (Collared shirts and trousers) Women (an informal dress or pants with blouse).

Counting down the days...

I went to dinner there in February in Jeans and a nice sweater. Park attire. No one said a think. My friend was wearing the same thing.

Thanks everyone! Not only am I excited I'm kinda nervous!

So what did you guys eat? Did you get a tour? I read that sometimes if it's your first time they'll give you a tour. That would be awesome!

Hofmanns4 - I am SO jealous - where do you work & are they accepting resumes!?!?!?
Sorry kids, no more SAHM for you - Mommy's working towards a Club33 Reservation!!! :lmao:

I went in October last year (have a co-worker whose husband's company has a membership) and it was great.

Few tips:
We sat year the windows which turned out to be french doors. When lunch was done, we were allowed to go out onto the balcony and watch the park guests below. It was great! Most people don't look up and don't know you're there. Also, take a minute and go to the trophy room and look at the microphones in the chandeliers. They're pretty cool.

If you LOVE smores and see them at the dessert table, I'd grab one first. (we saw that several people had done this and didn't know why) They were gone by the time we went for dessert. We were the late lunch seating.

As you walk in upstairs, there is a small curio cabinet with souveniers. I bought a pin and a shirt. Not much but you have to get something!

I had the New York strip loin and it was delicious!!

Enjoy!:goodvibes

We didn't dress up b/c we were in the park all day, although we didn't wear jeans or shorts. DH and I wore polos and khakis. Next time I'm going to dress up...;)

We went for dinner and I had the BEST lobster tail EVER...OMG I love club 33...

You are so funny:rotfl2:

Well, I probably should not come right out and say since I think they keep this pretty much a secret. After all, next year I will have worked for this well known large financial corporation for 20 years and just now found this out. :confused3

When I think about it, I should have known they would have a membership to Club 33 seeing as how they had an "insider view" into Disneyland in the beginning.:rolleyes1

Hrmmm...I wonder if there's any way to get a list of all of the corporate members to see who I should be looking to apply to when I graduate from college. ;)

We went for dinner a few years ago. It was wonderful!
No guided tour, but I sure walked around on my own with camera in tow. No one minded. I even took pictures on the women's bathroom :rotfl:
Those that have been there know why ;) Very unusual.

This is pretty accurate as far as dress code for the Club. I have been there numerous times and always dress accordingly (the dress code is not strictly enforced, but merely a suggestions since the Club is a fine dining restaurant). For dinner, a lot of guest tend to dress up a little more; I've gone in a pair of dark blue jeans for dinner and wear a nice dressy top with it. Lunch is definately more casual.

As far as the billing is concern, it's up to the member weather they want the bill presented to the table or billed to their account.

Lunch is a combination of ordering off the menu for your entree and a buffet for the salads, hors d'oeuvres and dessert. Dinner is strictly ordered off the menu. Both of the menus for lunch and dinner are rotated every other week.

Have a great time at the Club!
