Has a postacrd or email ever shown up with the info after the fact? I have not been calling daily (called once when I was making a modification to my ressie and had them check then) but have been checking my email and mailbox and have yet to find anything. (And I will fess up to ordering a new planning video, signing DH up for his own account and saving some quotes in both profiles :rolleyes1 )

I'm just not sure I want to call EVERY day and deal with the wrath of angry CM's trying to meet a quota...:confused3

I had received nothing as of last night when a wonderful cm "found" me a code. I really think it all has to do with what cm you get. I had just called 10 minutes earlier and got one that seemed to not want to deal with me because I started off asking here to check for a code, she found nothing, same with the cm earlier and the 3 last week, but all were finding me on the don't mail/email list and my frequency of call was to see if I was off that list since each of them tried to take it off with no luck. The cm last night also indicated I was on the don't list and had no codes with any of us on any phone number we have had or address. We I took a shot and told here why I was wanting to come, anniversary and son't b-day, and that it really hinged on getting a code and that I new people from this board were getting 40% off codes, we talked a little and she said she'd try to look again, started with our zip don't know if this has anything to do with it or not. Said she found a code and we could use it, saved us over $600. Told her how much I appreciated her taking the time and effort mutiple times. She said she just wanted us to have a great vacation and that since I knew of the code being sent out she found one and got it for us.

Keep calling and maybe you'll get a great cm, like I did. Good luck.

I just got a very nice cm...he mentioned that the marketing department sends out discounts to who they feel like sending them to at that time..sometimes by zip code, sometimes by number in family..he said I show none and apologized up and down and crossed his fingers for next time...maybe setting up new emails will help???:surfweb:

I called on Sunday for the heck of it and learned that I had a code. I have received 2 emails from Disney Destinations in the past 4 years and no snail mail; neither have been pin codes. I have stayed on property the past several times, once a year, so maybe that has something to do with them giving us a pin?

Thats a great rate! I think its a shame though that you have to jump through hoops in order to find a code. Your post makes me wonder if the CMs have access to codes to use at their discretion.

I just called for the third time - still no discount:sad2: The CM was very friendly until she knew that I already had a reservation and she told me if I were to get a code with my name, I would be notified by mail or e-mail. I asked if I was on a do not mail list because I heard there were some that had that marked in their database and she said she didn't see anything like that for us. I am happy for everyone who is getting their discounts, but I am getting very frustrated. I'm just not very patient at these things.

Okay, in my last message, I was so frustrated that I didn't make any sense. :lmao: Sorry about that. Hopefully you all can understand what I meant. If not just skip it.

I bet if you have nothing booked you will get a code faster than if you do habve a trip booked....hhmm:idea:

I have not received any email or postcard & I did get the code by calling. I called twice. The 1st time the CM said I did not have a code. A week later I called & did have the code.

Oh, and I did already have a room reservation booked so I don't think that matters.

I had my ressie already. Called Sunday to change from PC to CBR and asked about a code attached and was politely told "no". The next day the 40% off postcard was in my mail.

So obviously, the postcard had already been mailed when I spoke to CM on Sunday, yet she saw no code attached to my name. (and the postcard was in my name)

I called in the summer looking for something in the late summer, early fall, and there WAS a code attached to my name in the system. The CM asked hadn't I received a postcard or e-mail yet? I hadn't, nor did I ever. Couldn't use the code anyway :sad2:.

ok I am lost what are code and how do you get them. I signed up for the maps and video on disney site is that how you get them or some place else. I have my ressies made already and this is our first trip so i dont understand all the lingo yet
