We're back safe and sound and exhausted!!! The surprise worked exactly as planned. They had absolutely NO IDEA!! My husband and I got out of the car, the kids got out and walked around to hug and kiss us both goodbye. My DH told them we loved them and we'd see them in a week. Then they started "jockeying" for positions as to who was going to ride in the front seat on the way home from the airport. This was when I knew we had them!! I told them to kiss their older sister goodbye because they were going with us. They both looked at us with a look of utter shock and disbelief!!! Then there were dozens of questions....how long?, where are we staying?, can we do a water park?, are we going to the beach?, etc.

When we landed in Orlando, and the pilot said "Welcome to Orlando, Florida", my son leaned over and said, "When I woke up this morning, I never dreamed I'd be hearing those words."

I don't know if we'll ever be able to top that one, but I know I'll never forget the look in their eyes!!! I never heard so many "thank-yous" or got so many hugs in my life!

It was an AWESOME trip!!!

Aww Patty that gave me chills! How sweet! I would love to do that to John-Cole but I don't know if we could ever pull it off!

This is just the best story. I wish I could have seen their faces! You really made an unforgettable memory :)

Welcome back, we missed you :)

That sounds GREAT! I hope it works out that well when we surprise our daughter for our trip. She's 4 and it'll probably take her a little longer to figure it out but she'll probably be just as surprised. She told me the other day and said she saw a wishing star and she wished she could go to Disney World. I told her if she was a good little girl the blue fairy (from Pinochio) might come down one day and grant her wish :)

Awww, you got me all choked up, LOL. What a sweet thing to do for your kids. Can't wait to see your pictures!

Very cool Patty!!!!!! So glad that you were able to pull it off and can't wait to see some pics!!!!!
