I am going to ask a question here rather than a whole new thread..... I had booked by phone a r/o with Disney- I just booked the exact same thing at orbitz saved 200.00! so.... now I have a MDE question, how do I go about getting rid of the one res.,and linking the new orbitz one? I am totally clueless here...... and I need to know for sure that I haven't creat any 'hitches' in our plans before I cancel,etc. I am currently working on a family trip, so different parties,2 rooms,etc. The rooms are booked in my orbitz acct- but under the proper names. any help appreciated!

I called Orbitz and had 1 child added as well. Free and easy. I'm on hold with disney now to cancel my other ressie, and then add ME to this one. Also, I saved $150 going thru Orbitz instead of Disney!

We booked a trip to Barbados with Orbitz and it went great. I wouldn't worry if I were you. I just booked with them again, called to add 1 child and 2 infants and as usual got fantastic service.

I booked a package and save 370 dollars.

Also, in your email, your confirmation code will be extremely small but will be listed underneath the resort name.

I don't know yet if I have linked the tickets or not. MDE is showing me having tickets but those may be the original ones on the package I haven't cancelled yet. I have read that it can take three days before you get your tickets confirmation number. On my email it says that my tickets are pending.

Choose the 'change resort reservation' prompt. I just called. All circuits were busy first time, called right back, went through, they picked up in less than a minute.

Any time I've had to cancel through Orbitz, my PayPal account has been credited immediately with no problems. Plus you can earn $ through Ebates, and Orbitz gives you Orbucks to use on your next booking.

Can you make room requests on your reservation? Can I call and make them once Disney gets the reservation? Or do I do it once it's linked to MDE?

I asked this earlier but haven't received an answer yet. I know you can request nonsmoking and handicap access but didn't see a place for other requests.
