For those who are going for Christmas-CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS THREAD

We have a 3 ft fiberoptic tree with some small decorations & present garland, along with some mini fake presents to put under the tree for decor. lights for the window, window clings, and some light up angels. I also plan to use some of the glow sticks we have to make hidden mickeys to hang in the window

how does everyone put the wreaths on the door do you bring the wreath hangers? will the doors close properly?

I bought some Disney candy canes at Target today to put on our tree! I looked at the Tink tree & even thought Tink is my favorite I don't think I could deal with the purple tree.

Ive been looking for Disney window clings for our Christmas trip and havent been able to find any yet. What stores did you find them in in Canada?

We're not actually taking Disney clings, but I saw some at a store called Coconut Creek, and Maratime Frame It (of all places, it's a photo frame store that carries nic nack things as well)

i'm thinking of making a mickey mouse wreath for the door. suggestions which colour should i do it in? the green garland, blue, or red? I guess i'll just pick up some snowflakes and santa cling ons for the window

We'll be there in 16 days. We are staying in the All Star Suites. We'll have two windows. I have already gotten:

white twinkle lites for each window
snowflake garland
glittery garland
lots of mickey heads
stockings (and goodies for the stockings)
trees; stars; candy canes; stockings (to tape on windows or door); (all have been cut out and laminated from the teacher center)
Tiny Christmas tree

I am sure I have some other goodies just can't think of them at this moment. Looking forward to seeing some photos of your holiday decorations.

How do you guys hanging wreaths plan to hang them? Will a wreath hanger fit over the door???

I was thinking that a wreath hanger might interfere with the electronic key card locks. So I decided to get a suction cup to put the wreath on the window and just put the xmas removable stickers (at walmart) on the door

I was going to pack a small xmas tree in our luggage as we are now flying but DH says it'll be too much

I packed a tree in our luggage last Christmas (wrapped in bubble wrap) no problem..

i was going to get my friend to make me one (he makes wire sculptures) but he said that it might not be able to be ready before christmas.

I decided NO on the Tink tree!!! Too small and well, I just didnt like it. SO what I did is I went and got a 3 ft pre lighted tree from wal-mart and last nite I decorated it with all my Disney ornaments and my Tink tree topper and it is sooooo cute....so that is what will be in my GF room...and Im so excited!!!

Still on the hunt for a Disney tree skirt!!!

Kirrrby---I got a Tink topper from Ebay..she is in a santa suit and her wings gently light up and change colors....u might can find one and get it shipped fast.
