For those that "stack up" their pictures at Shutters...

I wonder if it depends on whether you are on the Magic or the Wonder. We were on the Magic in February, stacked our pictures and they were discarded I figure on Wednesday. We hadn't purchased any at that point. It was okay, we weren't thrilled with any up to that point any way, but I second what jlawall said, buy early to be safe and you can always trade.

But what if you are purchasing the package of 10 photos. Do they keep the ones you are saving for that package behind the desk for you or do you just keep stacking and create the package for yourself?

The passporter said something about saving receipts for volume discounts so could you purchase as you see ones you like and then show your receipts for your 10 or 20 purchased photos and get a refund for the difference in the package price? Does that make sense?? Maybe it's the compulsive spender in me, but I don't think I'd want to risk the chance of not finding a wonderful photo and buy it as soon as I saw it.

After only a day and half our grandsons pics with 2 of the characters from breakfast were gone. We searched and searched every board and so did one of the cm's. The cm made us 2 more pics from the proofs since i was sure i wanted to purchase them.
I did have to pay for them right then & pick them up the next day.

I too am a picture stacker. The first cruise we took (1998) we stacked our pictures and we purchased the ones we wanted at the end, however one of our most favorite picture got lost and DH and I searched through EVERY PICTURE in EVERY BIN to find that picture and it was GONE!!

Our 2nd cruise we stacked pictures too because we had the package and didn't really have problems, just moving and sometimes being in more than one pile.

On this upcoming cruise I will buy early and trade if need be.
