What do I need to bring with me!!

I want to get together whatever I need before I go to Disney June 6th. My planning session is June 9th.

Ooo thanks for asking! I've been wondering the same thing. Mine is May 23rd and I'm sure getting excited. :yay:

yes! thank u for asking!! Mine is one week from today and I'm freaking out!!! lol!!

Mostly I brought lots of pictures of what I liked, floral stuff mostly. The planner will work through everything with you- they dont miss a beat so you dont need to worry.:)

Wow you guys are much closer than me. I have a month tomorrow and I am already freaking out. I am so excited to actually be able to go, I didn't think I could. It will be a great experience. I remember seeing a disney wedding show and they showed a planning session taking place and I really thought it looked fun. This is wayyyyyyyyyy before I thought of a Disney wedding.

I hope someone has some good tips for us.

hello

when i went i brought a bunch of stuff (it is the planner in me)
I brought 3 folders one for the florist one for planner and one for me. so that they had items to keep. it had a pic of my dress, floral ideas, centerpiece ideas. my planning sheets(which were numbers for buses and limos and also for time lines stuff). also a swatch of the bridsmaid dresses and examples of the crystals i wanted.

hope this helps

Toni,
How did you get to schedule your planning session for June???

I'm getting married a few days after you and I was told that I had to wait till August to do our planning session. (In a Napoleon Dynamite voice) "LUCKY!"

Thanks sunsh1ne! I hadn't thought of copies for the disney folks to keep but it sure makes sense. I don't want them taking mine!!

I told them I was going on vacation and I wanted to plan it while I was down there. They didn't give me any problem. I wonder what the difference is. Do you have your contract and money in yet? I don't know why they would tell you to wait until August. Thats silly.

Ahh great idea! I will have to do that. I have all the stuff I pretty much want and I have ideas of what centerpieces and bouquets I would like so that is a great idea. Thanks!!!

What!?!?! :scared1: Contract? They haven't sent me mine yet. :scared1:
I have my time at the WP and GFBR reserved for the ceremony and reception, and they sent me a little packet. But I haven't gotten my contract yet. :scared: What's going on???

Who do you have for a Coordinator?

Sarah -- I think you and I are in the same boat on the contract. Because you can't contract for the wedding pavillion or any of the ballrooms that they use for conventions until 8 months before your date, you probably have to wait until June for your contract and to make your deposit. I hope that helps! :cutie:

I think since you have the wedding pavillion they are making you wait longer. I think its because its the most requested place. I am having SBP which isnt in too much demand. Neither is the Attic. My coordinator was Bill but my Wedding planner is Celeste. I sent back my signed contract and gave them money already.

hello
also a swatch of the bridsmaid dresses..
hope this helps

Did you get this from the bridal shop -- I got my bridesmaid dresses from Davids Bridal -- I wonder if they would be a swatch so that I can get the dye lot right..

This is a great idea!!!

I mainly took a picture of my dress and brought cake pictures I liked. I also made a copy of the Tinkerbell's brunch menu and then edited it to show them what I wanted to change and/or add to my menu for the reception. I brought a notebook to write our notes in so I wouldn't lose them :goodvibes

You will have fun :lovestruc especially tasting cake!!
