Speaking for myself. it's more convenient to pull out a pre-loaded Swiffer Wet Jet, pop on a cleaning cloth and address the occasional drip or spill than it is to haul out a the heavy bucket and mop.I don't understand the point of using a Swiffer Wet Jet if you're not going to use the solution/pads that go with it. Why don't you just use a regular mop and bucket?

I would think it is obvious that a Swiffer Wet Jet is easier and simpler to use than an old fashioned mop and bucket (even considering the time to make homemade cleaning solution).I don't understand the point of using a Swiffer Wet Jet if you're not going to use the solution/pads that go with it. I just looked up the Orange Glo reusable mopping pad and I just have a question or two if you don't mind because while I love the convenience of the Swiffer Wet Jet (as we now have ALL hardwood floors) I don't think it cleans very well.I would think it is obvious that a Swiffer Wet Jet is easier and simpler to use than an old fashioned mop and bucket (even considering the time to make homemade cleaning solution).
I don't like the disposable Swiffer pads because they don't clean the floor very well. I have the Orange Glo reusable mopping pad that cleans much better, and when I'm done, I throw it in with a load of towels. I paid less for that reusable OG pad than for a box of 10 disposable swiffer pads, and it doesn't take up enough room in a load of wash to be a burden.
