For those that have MACS....what financial software do you use?

We have always used Quicken. I have had Windows desktops and a few laptops and have used Quicken since 1999. About this time last year....my laptop was acting up big time so I saved my Quicken to an external hard drive. I bought the MAC version of Quicken and transferred everything over. I DO NO LIKE the MAC version. I have a new laptop now, but I am leery to use Quicken on it again. Are there other financial software programs for the MAC that are similar to Quicken?

I don't use Quicken to download from my bank. I basically use it like a check register. TIA for any idea.

I'll put a different spin on the question...

If you only want to track investments, what software do you use? I am looking for something that will track CDs as well as stocks and update by downloading new quotes automatically.

I really don't want to use something like Google or CNBC websites, as I want to keep my information to myself, not where someone can look at it and then then send me ads or worse.

I use iBank, but I use the full software version, not the app. I used to use Quicken but had to bail out when I upgraded to Lion. Anyway, it has the same features as quicken and can track investments, import/export information, etc. The interface is a bit different form Quicken, but didn't take too long to adjust to.

I use Quicken for Windows on a virtual machine on my Mac.

At the time I switched, the only other option on th Mac was Quicken Essentials. Quicken for Mac 2007 will now also run on a Mac running Lion or Mountain Lion. I haven't used it but I understand it is comparable in features to Quicken for Windows from about 2005. -- Suzanne
