for those that got Cypress thru hotelkingdom?

The site leeds me to believe that the full balance is paid upfront. Is this correct?
Is there a way around this? I wanted to pay the deposit and pay at time of arrival anyone know?

Yes, if you book CP through HK you have to pay the full amount up front. I didn't really understand the breakdown, but I believe there were 2 separate charges; the first to HK (smaller percentage) and the second to CP itself (larger amount). Both charges were made/paid within a couple of days of making the reservation, as I recall.

I don't know if there is any way around this policy...didn't ask. Apparently HK doesn't require this for all resorts...many are just a percentage as a down payment of sorts, the rest to be paid when you get there. Perhaps this is CP's requirement? Good luck!!

They take it all upfront but if you need to cancel they will refund all but $20 (provided you are over 3 days out). The charge use to be $10.
