What was the discount like? The kids stay and play free.... the stay part is already free so that is a joke! But was it a significant amount? Friends of ours have one under 10 and not sure if this is worth it. the code is the P2A one. I am guessing this is the same deal that will be available to the public on Monday, right?? :confused3

for one child, depending on the level of resort, a resort discount may be a better choice... the discount is the cost of the child's ticket... which averages just over $200...

our savings is about $950, but that is because we have four children. If we only had one child, I would think that free dining or a room discount would be a better deal.

Currently both families (us and them) have the 20% off room code applied...just not sure if the free child would be better % off....We are going April 14-22nd.

I have free dining(QS) now but I'm looking to use the kids play free discount. Free dining saved me about 470 while the kids free will save about 455. The question is will we save by buying what we want to eat. My DW and DS(5&3) are picky eaters and we always have a hard time using all the credits- now my youngest boy is on QS we will have more credits to use. So we may save money by not using the dining plan.

I got the visa deal and saved $480 (two kids). I'm pretty happy with that. I was worried that I screwed up when I just noticed they now have room only discounts for my dates. I booked as a package with the travel insurance a few months ago, and since the $133 from the ins is nonrefundable after 14 days and you can't use ins on room only ressies, I was breaking out into a cold sweat. But after I ran the numbers, the visa discount saves us the most money for where we're staying (Pop). I still have park hopper added on and it covered the base price of 7 day tickets, so that's nice. The wording on the site makes it sound like it only covers 4 days.

***I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm thankful free dining is NOT offered during my dates. The dining plan is fun, but stresses me out at the same time. I hate being tied down to reservations my whole trip, plus my 3yr old would never eat her moneys worth on it. This trip it's no DDP for us. We'll pay out of pocket for a few character meals, fanstasmic!, etc... the rest will be QS dining and food from garden grocer. I think we'll save a lot more this way.***

it does make you feel crazy! When I booked the 20% off, the CM said it was just for 14th,15th,16th. the rest of our package falls out of those dates???? I thought if you checked in before the cut-off date that you get the % for the whole trip! So basically we got a discount for only the first 3 days.....wondering if the visa Kids deal P2A will cover the kids tickets for the duration of the trip? Anyone have any idea?

We are booked 7 nights at Pop (4/9-4/16) w/ a 25% room only discount that I used an email PIN for: 2 adults and 1 child. I called back after seeing the Visa offer and they ran the numbers for me. Would be $53 more if I switched to the Visa offer so the room only discount was better in this case (our park passes are only for 6 days though so would probably be an even exchange if we had 7 days planned in the parks).
