For those of you who have or are doing the CP package, what time to eat and which CP

I wasn't gonna do it...you know, the CP package, but then someone posted how it's only ~$10 more per person than using lunch vouchers for Le Cellier (which was the way I was leaning) so now I'm stumped. IF I should decide to spring for the package, what time would you suggest eating and which CP would be the best to do?

Some things to consider: I would REALLY like to maximize my time as efficiently as possible as DH and I only have ONE day to "do" Epcot and all the fun holiday stuff! We would like to be free to see the 6pm Christmas tree lighting so that means we are only free to see the first and last showing of CP. I would love to see BOTH shows, if possible, but don't think it is!

The challenge is on...Show me your best plans!

We have the 6:45 show on 12/6, followed by 8:15 Alfredos. The last 2 years we did the 6:45 show and 8:00 LeCellier. Decided to try something different this year. We stay at BWV so we can take our leftovers back to the room after (fridge in room).

I'm with Debbie on this regarding doing the CP and then dinner. Her timing sounds about right. If you are lucky, you might be seated and done with your meal in time to catch IllumiNations at 9:30, although with the way LeCellier fills up, that might be pushing it.

Enjoy!

If you really want to see the Tree Lighting ceremony, you will most likely not be able to do the dinner package. They only allow certain dinner seating times based on which time CP you go to. None of them allow for you to be able to do all three (CP, Dinner Package, and Tree lighting) on the same night. If you do dinner without the package and then standby on the CP you could do it as you would be able to make your own schedule.

We are doing 5:20 Dinner at Garden Grill and 8:15 CP on 12/20 and doing the Tree lighting ceremony on 12/18.

Good luck.

We will be seeing the 5pm show on 12/29 then eating at Teppanyaki at 7:30, so we could see the tree lighting. We ate at Lecellier for 2002 at 6:30 and went to last CP show. I thought we would try the earlier show, although I think it might loose some of the effect while it is still daylight. Its still an amazing show.

We're doing the 5 PM show on Dec 8. I thought we might try to get back around to see the tree lighting afterwards. It doesn't sound like we would be able to get up close and center, because a lot of people line up early for the tree lighting. At least that what I've gathered from other posts. Does anybody have any experience? Would it even be worth trying and will we be able to see anything?
After that, we're eating at Le Cellier at 7:20 and hoping to catch Illuminations after dinner to see the holiday themed finale.

We have reservations for the 5:00 p.m. CP on 12/24 - and the only dinner reservation we could get at Alfredo's was at 8:00 p.m. I then asked if we could change to the 6:45 CP, and they said there were no PSs available for 6:45.

Maybe we'll be able to see the tree lighting, and if we get a table on time, make it out for the 9:30 Illuminations. We'll see.
