For those of you who have breastfed at Disney...

I am...what I consider well endowed (last pregnancy 38DDD)--I found the hotsling to be invaluable to carry my son and the Moby wrap to be wonderful for carrying and nursing. I tried nursing in the hotsling pouch, but that could get tricky.

I too cannot use a bjorn and was excited to find other wraps/carriers that were more ergonomic to my needs.

Moby is quite hot in the summer though--I mean, really hot.

hey lisa, thanks!
i have the moby actually but haven't used it in a while. i can't figure out how to nurse in it though! the directions are so confusing!

i am thinking about bringing the moby - we'll be there in FIFTEEN (!!!!) days so it won't be too hot.

Hi Everyone---Thanks again for all the replies. I was going to post a new thread, but figured here would be a great place to start for another question I have since most of you are breastfeeding mommies! I need a recommendation for a good nursing bra. I have a couple that are just not cutting it and I can't possibly imagine wearing them in the Florida heat and feeling comfortable. I don't feel like the current nursing bras I have would give me the support I need to wear my summer clothing. I have been "spoiled" by having a winter baby this time around and can hide my increased chest size under sweatshirts:laughing:

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

They're not the most flattering (you've kinda got uni-**** thing going), but I LOVE my Target nursing tanks.

I don't know brands, but I've got a few bras at JCPenney's too. They're fine but not as comfy as the nursing tanks.

(Now that DS is only nursing morning and night I'm starting to move back to regular bras, but I love the days when we're staying home so I can wear the nursing tanks...sorry TMI for the question you asked).

Totally depends on what size you are and how often you are nursing. You can always get a regular bra and just lift your breast out from the top and nurse from the top - just make sure you are wearing a top where your breast can be accessible through the neck of the shirt.

Of course there is supposedly a big controversy between from-the-bottom and from-the-top nursing re:modesty. :rolleyes1

For actual nursing bra brands, Bravado and Anita are good for extended sizing (I'm a 38H). Most bras from Motherhood Maternity are good for smaller chests, but I can't find any that have enough support. I am in love with this one though - it's soooo comfortable and cheap enough that I can replace it often (which is good because I've gone through a few)!

First, when I nursed my youngest in WDW I did it everywhere that was dark, shows, and rides....I did have a sling that she would lay in while walking around which I could also nurse in her in too. I only had 1 person look at me and it was when were in line for jungle cruise... I could seen her stare and the turn around and say something and then the other person look and make a comment. The sad thing was that I was actually nursing her at the time she was just asleep but I had put a blanket over my shoulder to cover her face and I guess they assumed I was. It really upset me because if I had been nursing her, it would have been discreet, no one would have seen anything. I just hate when people act that way! I have seen plenty of people nurse and it has never even occurred to me to think anything about it! Now, I don't think whipping it out for all of Disney to see and not covering up is right either.:scared1:

I wore the target nursing tanks the entire time I was there they were great!

I nurse DD everywhere. I wear my belly bands that I wore under maternity tops when they were getting shortish. I try to coordinate to my top somewhat then when I am nursing and my actual top is up, you still see the band on the belly (instead of skin:scared1:) and you really can't tell I am nursing unless you really study the situation.
