Kevin, My heart breaks for your family. No one should have to go through this and it sounds like we need to revise the laws. This man has no business being out. In a sense he has more freedom than you and your family do because you have to suffer every day from the burden and grief and the knowledge that he is still out there. It is just unbelievable to me that he not only served only one day for killing your father but that despite being a repeat drug offender this jerk is always let out. Unfortunately he will probably get another little slap on the wrist and be let out again.

There is something so wrong with a system that allows a killer to go free. And this man is truly a killer there was no accident involved here he is a drug addict that clearly has no remorse for how his actions caused your father's death. I hope at the very least with the recent publicity that someone with some "power" will see to it that what ever needs to be done to make this man be held accountable for his actions will do so one day in jail for him is just a slpa in the face to your family.
