I have a GSD. He is very well behaved (a bit woofy around other dogs, though) and I'd like to bring him with us. This will be our first trip to US & we want to stay at the HRH.

Can I leave him alone in the room? Will housekeeping leave the room alone if I hang up the DND sign? I just don't know what to expect. I don't have the heart to put him in a kennel because I'll miss him too much (and he's a momma's boy).:)

Thank you!

The resorts are very pet friendly. We stayed at RPR last month and this couple had a huge Dobermen. We talked awhile, cause I love the breed and he told me how great the resorts are towards pets.
Here is a link to there policy on pets:

I got a American Staforshire-Pit Bull thats just a great big puppy. But around other people she gets very protective of her family. Its just in her nature. But I would never bring her to the resort. She would bark so loud when we are gone they would hear her over The Hulk at IOA!!!Great to have family that live close.

My sister brings her little dog and she has to make arrangements with housekeeping for them to clean her room. She also leaves a number so that if there is a problem they can contact her (such as lots of barking). I love the fact that they have room service for the pets and when you check in you get some little goodies for them.

They have an area for you to walk your dog, I have not seen any large dogs before but I bet people bring them all the time. They don't have a weight limit, just a max of 2 pets per room.
