The Orlando Sentinel and WFTV are both reporting that high temperatures by the middle of next week may have a hard time getting out of the 50s.

Just a heads-up for packing purposes.

Thanks for the tip. Normally, temps in the 50s wouldn't bother me, but it is over 60 here in MA. Last year around now, it was snowing. Go figure.

I am also going to be 18 weeks pregnant on Monday, so with all the walking around, I'd rather not be sweating so much. But I was looking forward to a swim :(

Keep in mind Orlando has water on 3 sides. Any long term forecast beyond 3 days is a 50 / 50 crap shoot.

Don't be surprised if it is significantly colder or warmer 10 days from now. Simply because there are many more variables to forecasting weather when it comes to ocean as opposed to land mass.

I'm going to add some jeans and a sweater to my suitcase. I'm always freezing @Fantasmic this time of year and now it sounds like this year will be the same. Thanks for the heads up.

I have been watching the forcast at another link at Magical Mountain. Looks like it is going to be nice weather! I, too, will be throwing some jeans and jackets into the luggage, just in case.

Gosh, accuweather is stating highs in the 60's and 70's. Oh well, we're packing jeans and if it gets too chilly,I guess we'll have to buy Mickey sweatshirts!

Thanksgiving Day is supposed to be about 68 degree. But the beginning of the week will mostly have HIGH temps of the mid 60 range. So bring sweatshirts and jackets and jeans..

Ya, i didn't see anything about the 50's.. from what i read, it was highs in the upper 60's to low 70's.. I don't usally go for long term forcasts anyhow, they are so subject to change..
I just pack everything..just in case! LOL

I go every year the day after Thanksgiving and let me tell you it really can go either way.

I'm from NH- I'm used to the cold but for some reason when we are at the Magic Kingdom on Saturday night it is usually very cold. I always wear a long sleeve shirt, a fleece vest and a scarf, bring gloves because when your standing around waiting or even at World Showcase for Illuminations in Epcot it can be real cold. This time of year you have to plan for both warm in the day and cold at night. I guess it would be different if we were going from a car to the house but we are usually outside all the time so it's pretty chilly.

Not to worry as soon as the temp dips, gloves, hats and scarfs come out at the counters along with Hot Chocolate.

Enjoy your vacation, it will be so beautiful not matter what the temp.

Thanks for the heads up. I just checked accuweather.com and it shows high 70s for mid to latter week. Go figure. Your post reminds me to pack it all and hope the heavy stuff stays in the suitcase.
