I just got back and that was how it was the whole week. Even soarin only had about a 15 minute wait. Whatever the wait time says I usually cut off 10 minutes and that is actually about how long it takes. Hope that makes sense.

We just got back tonight <yawn>. The weather, while hot and humid was wonderful...only 1 day of rain and by that time we were giddy to have an excuse to hit the resort and nap. The wait times were minimal...walked right on to HTH and RR. Soarin' was AWSOME...sit up front, the most incredible thing in the parks to me.
Magical Express went off without a hitch, Coronado Springs was beautiful and we had the most magical family vacation. DD9 (this was her first trip) is in LOVE with WDW.
We had free dining and between the 3 of us, "spent" almost $1000 on eats...okay, we really didn't "spend" it, but even if we had paid for the dining plan it would have been soooo worth it. BTW....Hoop Dee Doo Revue is a must do for everyone...one of the best nights of our trip.
Only ran across 1 nasty person all week and really wanted to back up and run across her again but I just took a deep breath and tried to let it roll off my back.
Would love to report more but I am about to fall over I'm so tired. Will report more later.

We'll be there on Friday. I'd really be bouncing by this time normally, except the whole thing is a big 13th birthday surprise for my son, so it's all hush hush around here.

I'm especially excited, because he really needs some 'happy' for a while. It's been hard on him, well, everyone, since the hurricane.

We just got back yesterday. While riding on the bus with a long-time Disney CM, we had a lengthy discussion about Disney and such. This man was very knowledgeable.

We were telling him how hot it was at AK. He advised us that that park is at least 10 degrees hotter than the rest because there are not a lot of trees and the animals need the heat. We took the train to Rafiki's area (petting zoo and such), and it was even worse. No shade--just sand and heat! I love the heat, but I could hardly stand it. So beware--save that park for a cooler day!

Just returned from the world. Wonderful time. Very, very hot. We live in FL and are used to heat. But, there were no lines. We went to parks early in AM and left in the afternoon for swim and rest. Then returned in evening. We even walked on Soarin!!! Several times in a row!!! DD10 just loved this ride. Have a wonderful trip!!

We leave in 9 days, the light crowds would for sure be a bonus with the dreaded heat! Does anyone think that the Food & Wine Festival, starting next week, will make a big impact to the crowd levels?
