what are you going to do with it?


I'm getting a substantial refund this year. I ought to tell the IRS to make the check payable to my kids' day camp. that's where it's going in any event.

Our refund is going to pay city taxes, pay off the balance on the Visa card, catch up on our pledge to the church, and the remaining $1.50 is going towards the home equity loan.

The state income tax refund is going to pay for my nervous breakdown.

Ours paid for DH's new lawn mower, his shaper for his workshop and the rest went in the bank. I'd say Dh made out good this year....wouldn't you?? He deserves it though, he works hard!

Between my refund and a nice "big" cash prize I won from the Direct Sales company I am with, I paid of all but a very small portion of my debt's!!!! Oh how nice it is to say "DEBT FREE"!!

We use ours to pay the bike and cars insurance. The rest will go to building our house in Costa Rica

Well...I actually got mine when my mom passed away. Because of a screw up at the lawyers office and the place that her annuity thing was at they forgot to withdraw taxes. So the money that I got from that was in place of what I would have gotten from the tax return. And that will be going toward a new car this fall. Some of the money has gone to new clothes that I and dd desperately needed, also clothes for the cruise. I've also gotten some scrapbooking items that I wanted (I never buy anything that I want but don't really need so this was a treat) and some has gone toward bills.

Despite the mess up and having to claim that money on our taxes, we are still getting a little bit back that dh will be using toward some bills and other small things for the house.

I got a small refund (but since I was a full-time student for part of last year, I wasn't expecting a huge one), which I put in savings to help pay for my May WDW trip.
