For those of you calling for codes

I called twice on Friday - once to try the old "Do I have a code?" number and the second time to book my rezzie. Both CMs were awesome! I did try to play kinda dumb the first time though but she was super sweet and helpful - although NO CODE! Darn!
 
I called today and the CM I spoke with was awesome. I told her that I had been online and read that sometimes there are discount codes attached to names in the data base and she responded with you are correct.

She looked under my name and my hubby's unfortunately nothing for us yet. But she did say well maybe within the next couple of days. I am not sure what that meant, but you bet I will be calling again.

She also spent about 45 mins with me on the phone doing so quotes for me at various hotels.

I hope when I call back I don't get a mean CM.
 
Did anyone get a code that can be used in July?

I am waiting and waiting and my luck you won't be able to use it in July!!!

I would have a plan another trip with that discount!!!!:cool1:

No code, but the CM was nice!! Not American and not easy to understand, but nice!!

Oftentimes I hear that people think they have reached another country. This would never happen when you call Disney. Diversity in culture is what it is all about with Disney as they are an international company. And everyone is valued.

Would someone please post the phone number you use to call and ask about codes. I've used an 800 number and that never gets a good response for a code. Are there different 800 numbers or is there a 407 number that is better to call.

Someone, please help with phone numbers.
 
I seriously called about 10 times. Sometimes I got a nice one, other times they were crabby and made me feel dumb for even calling (I don't see the big deal of wanting to save money...)Any how, I signed up for the dvd. I also changed our contact info on the disney website. I finally got one in my husbands name. Good-Luck, we should all be able to enjoy vacation savings.

I used this number last night 407-560-2428. I had a code, my hubby did not. But, the code was not for April something through August something and we are going in May so it was no help to me. *pout* Still waiting for a May code.

Well, my husband and I both have different "login" names on the disney site, so would there be different places to check for us or are they able to see everything just by pulling up our address. Because they seem to look very quickly (after I verify address and phone number) and say that there is nothing attached. I NEED A MAY CODE! May 3-10th at POP...counting the days!!!

The system the CM uses to look up your household is different than the website so as long as they check all of your old addresses and phone numbers as well then you c be assured of getting the right info. :wizard:
 
Not American? Did you mean to say that they didn't speak very good English or had an accent? I am sure that is what you meant as everyone can be considered an "American" that lives on the North American continent or South American continent for that matter. And since Disney only has reservation agents in the US they were definately an American. Glad to hear you got a pleasant CM, most of them are.:cool1:

I've had some GREAT CM's...they're very sweet to put up with my multitudinous (made up word I guess) querying! :)

Today I called again to ask a question about what trip I should take and she said that they used to could look up your name and see if any codes were attached to it...she said they can't do that any more...but I thought for sure I had heard someone say that they had a code attached when they looked it up, are there any CM's out there that can confirm if you can do that?

Also, I went back to my old Disney Destination newsletters (last Oct/Nov) and on the left hand side it said for me (my name) to call Disney and give them this 3 letter code...would that have actually been a code????? Was it a general code...I can't believe that I got something that may be a code and I didn't have a clue we'd be going to Disney this year....oh great...the code fairy missed me again! :)

ok..vent,rant,rave....:headache: I have called and called, and no codes!!!:mad: The Cms I have gotten have been flat out mean, and the last time the woman yelled at me that they can't do that anymore and to stop calling.So I called back and cancelled my trip and rebooked thru AAA. I am really tired of getting mean,unhelpful,nasty Cm's that don't want to do their job...Sorry about the vent!


RMulieri, if this honestly happens to you again, I would say "I guess if you can't help me, maybe your supervisor can, may I speak to them please?" And then report their snotty behavior! Don't stop calling because they're lazy! Good luck!
 
I called yesterday to see if there was anything for October. I gave her my name and address and she told me how many times i had visted and when the last time i was there. So they do really look. I had a code but not for October.

Also, if there is a code, do I have to use it right then or can I call back and make my ressies later and apply the code?

I just called and got a GREAT CM. She was incredibly sweet and patient. She checked my name and my husbands. She advised me to keep calling back. She said even if we had booked a ressie they would apply it AND even if we paid for the trip they'd refund us.
 
I have yet to have a rude cm. We are going August 29 thru September 6. I was told by a few different cm's that the codes are released about a month and a half before. So for me it would be July. I have never thought of looking under hubbies name. I am really hoping to get some code. We are at $3200 for our package. Not counting gas money,food not covered under our dining plan and souveniers. i will say that the last cm I talked to was really nice. She spent 45 minutes going over different character dining options.
 
My DH co-workers just gave us a wonderful Anniversary gift of a weekend of our choice to WDW so I just called an got a very nice CM Tracy, but sadly to say NO code for me. But I will be checking back. Except for the summer---TOO, TOO HOT and the the time we will be on our Alaskan Cruise in Sept, other wise I'm good to go at any other time. Keeping fingers and toes crossed with lots of Pixie Dust thrown in.
