For Those of us Who Love Broadway...

I would have liked to see the revival of Finian's Rainbow...it just closed so quickly though. I love the songs "How are things in Glocca Morra?" and "Look to the Rainbow" from that show.

I saw Ebersole do Applause! a few years back. It was truly insanely amazing.

Yeah. I saw the dress rehearsal Wednesday night, and then I saw her Saturday. Saturday night was light years better.

How cool! My friends and I have Friday subscriber seats up in heaven, but I did pay for a single ticket to return on Saturday down in the orch. Completely worth it.

LOL @ heaven. City Center is funny that way. But those seats are cheap up there, which is great for repeat performances.

What's everybody's favorite movie musical? Of course I love the classics like Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, and Oliver! but I have a special place in my heart for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Love it!!

My favorite movie musical is hands down, Fiddler on the Roof. So earthy and real, and yet, it's a musical!

I have to go with My Fair Lady. I've watched it 100 times. I just love Audrey and Rex.

Also Newsies is really good! Heard about it here from Kevin. My mom and I loved it. :goodvibes
My mom also loves 7 Brides for 7 Brothers.

I consider Mary Poppins a musical and it would be my second favorite after My Fair Lady.

Sound of Music!!! I used to be able to quote practically the entire movie. I need to watch that again soon.

I have several that are at the top of my list though...Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Easter Parade, White Christmas, Gigi...
