My son and I are going to the city next Sat to see Next to Normal again. He's seen it twice already, and loves Marin Mazzie, so we are going for his birthday. I love going to shows and wish I could go more often, but broadway is expensive! We always stand outside the stage door after the show, so we've met alot of the performers also, which adds to the experience.

Next to Normal - love this - have been listening to the soundtrack. This was a show I didn't really want to see, but once I heard the twist in the story, I was hooked. It's sad, hopeful and has great music.
Wicked - love Defying Gravity
Les Miserables - saw this with Judy Kuhn, she has an amazing voice
Boeing Boeing - this was really funny. Mary McCormack, Gina Gershon (she didn't come out after the show, we saw the matinee) and Bradley Whitford
The Fantasticks - my son bugged me to see this. I didn't think I would like it but it was quite good, in a tiny off broadway theater, I think it held about 100 people.
The Drowsy Chaperone - Bob Saget played the narrator. We met him before the show, very nice guy.
Phantom - this gets dismissed as a touristy show, but I love it - what a spectacle!
I don't really have any dislikes; I saw Hairspray with Harvey Fierstein and paid a mint for the tickets, and was kind of letdown.
