If you have not done so already, get whatever supplies you may need now.
I went to our Super Walmart earlier today and it was very crowded. I figured it wouldn't be too bad, but I was wrong. The canned food/goods shelves were almost empty and the aisle was VERY crowded. There were no C and D batteries left, plastic utensils were almost gone (there were some spoon packages left), most of the plastic cups were also gone (only the thin plastic cups were left). A man pushed my cart out of his way and began to put baked beans cans in his cart. When I tried to move my cart, I bumped into his shoe and he wasn't happy. I apologized to him, but he didn't even look at me.
I can't imagine what the store will be like at the last minute.
I'm sure that the employees will continue to re-stock the shelves, but it's best to go before desperation sets in.
Anyway, don't wait until later in the week to get what you need, get it done soon.
I pray that this hurricane doesn't make landfall, but I think that even if we don't get the worst of it, our weather will still be affected.
