For Those Having Problems Purchasing Discounted PAP

(nothing like waiting until the last minute!)

Don't feel bad-I'm REALLY waiting until the last minute! It didn't even occur to me until last night to ask DH when his AP expires. Found out it expired 6 months ago, so I'll be calling this afternoon, when I get home from work. We're going to WDW in October, and from what I understand (never even paid attention), this is cheaper than buying an AP. I assume it's OK for the credit card to be in my name even though the AP (PAP?) is in his?

My mother purchased my DVC discounted PAP for me using her American Express card. Not sure if it matters if the card holder is with you at time of pick up but she will be with my family, just as I am sure you will be with your dh. Yes, you are almost correct. The PAP is more expensive, but just by $1 :goodvibes
 
The CM I spoke with said that they might ask to see the specific credit card you used. Yes, I did call today. First, I was pleasantly surprised that after a couple waits lately of close to 30 minutes apiece, today was only a 16 minute wait. And then when I got a CM, the process was very quick and painless. I really appreciated the facts that she didn't remind me I could purchase on-line, nor did she give me a hard time (not even a little) about the fact that I'd done this so late!
 
They removed the link. Still have not gotten through. Really getting frustrated. Between this and Fastpass + selection not working today, I have really aggravated.

I would give up on the APs if it were not for the fact that I am already registered for a couple of rundisney races.
 

Member service took care of me! I wrote an email to MS explaining what had happened while purchasing my annual pass and they called a couple days later. A wonderfully kind cm called and apologized for my trouble with purchaing the annual pass and seemed to really understand why I was upset. She explained what she was going to try to do to correct the situation. She called back today and worked everything out so I could use my gift cards to complete the purchase. Wow, I was impressed! DVC treated me like a value customer! The magic of Disney is back in my house! Thank You, Member Services!
