For those getting married at the WP...

Hi Ladies,

I had a question for those of you who are getting married or were married at the WP. I just received the sample cd of the organ music for the ceremony yesterday. Is it just me or did anyone else not like the way some of the songs sounded when played by an organ? I wanted to walk down to "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" but it sounded weird on the sample cd. I love the DFTW cd version and I would like to use that one instead.

Did any of you decide not to use the organist that was included and use an ipod/cd that you brough instead? Is that even allowed? TIA!

You can bring a CD (I've heard that they will not allow burned CDs; it has to be the original). We are doing this for our unity candle song. I know the organist cd sounds weird -- lots of people have not liked it, but I've heard it sounds much better in person, so I guess we'll see...

Yes, a lot of brides have posted here that they thought the CD sounded bad, but after hearing the organ in person they were very happy with it.

maybe Celeste can arrange something. when i was there for my planning session he was getting ready for a wedding and she took us over... he sounded great!

Yes -- I've heard that some people have been able to arrange this at their planning session. I kind of wish that we had tried to do that.

i can assure you - the organ is amazing in the WP - don't be worried.

no charge for a cd either and we used a burned one. that sounded great as well. the cd they provide does no justice to the music.

I AGREE THAT CD DOES NO JUSTICE, I WAS LUCKY THAT DURING ONE OF MY PLANNING SESSIONS A WEDDING JUST GOT OVER AND WE WENT TO LOOK AROUND AND THE ORGANIST WAS STILL THERE SO HE PLAYED WHEN U WISH UPON A STAR.... IT SOUNDED UNBELIEVABLE ... JUST LIKE HAVING YOUR OWN CINDERELLA MOMENT! MY FIANCE SAID MY FACE COMPLETELY LIT UP WHEN HE STARTED TO PLAY!! THAT RIGHT THERE SEALED THE DEAL THAT WAS THE PLACE WE WERE GETTING MARRIED SOMEHOW SOME WAY!!
