Marsha, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I've followed your reports of Tom's brave fight & admire you both. My DH also had a long battle with cancer & passed away at home after a 3 year battle. Losing a spouse is so devastating
but at least he's no longer suffering. I'll keep you & your family in my prayers. God Bless.

Marsha, I only checked the compassion board this morning to check on your situation. Even though we have never met, or even talked, my heart fell when I read this and I am still so sad for you. Over a year ago, I lost my 65 year old mother to lung cancer. At the time, I experienced mild relief that she was no longer suffering, yet I mourn the loss of her every single day. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

All Tuesday I kept thinking about you and the girls. It was a glorious day...too beautiful for such sadness. But, it was a fitting day to send off one of God's true angels. You and the girls are in my prayers. They are truly beautiful, strong young women Marsha...you should be very proud of them. I know that Tommy is. What a lucky man he was.
He will be in my prayers for a long time to come.

Marsha, I have also kept up with your posts on this thread. It was clear from your posts that the last years of your husband's life, although a struggle, were beautiful due to the closeness you shared. You certainly saw that every minute was as special as humanly possible.
